Alleviating effect of liquid vermicompost on germination and juvenile seedling of Hungarian vetch (Vicia pannonica Crantz.) under salt stress

Aims: The alleviating aspects of liquid vermicompost (VCL) on the seed germination and juvenile seedling growth Hungarian vetch, which is an important fodder plant in Turkey world, under salt stress were evaluated.Methods Results: Two experiments laboratory greenhouse conditions established according to a randomized plot design with three replications. In experiments, levels applied as control (0%) - 1% 2.5% 5% 10% solutions prepared (pure water), 30 mM, 60 mM 90 NaCl doses. At end experiment, rate index vetch seeds, length, fresh dry weights plumule, radicle examined. emergence ratio, height, weights, root investigated.Conclusions: It was observed that parameters measured period negatively affected by stress, but negative effects decreased due increase amount applied.Significance Impact Study: present study can be reference terms revealing stimulating attribute VCL inhibiting salinity various plant. alleviative regulatory effect appeared mostly its dose applications during moderately sensitive stress.
